at socializing all our Scottish Fold
cats and kittens. I think most people do
not really understand the critical
importance of the window of
socialization that lasts only from 2
weeks to 7 weeks of age. This quote is
from Robert Tabor's Cat Behavior: A
complete guide to understanding how your
cat works: "Eileen Karsh established
that the window of the sensitive period
for habituating kittens to people is
from two weeks to seven weeks. Cats
handled regularly during this time were
prepared, when older, to stay on
someone's lap longer and approach people
more readily. Cats that were handled
after this period, that is from weaning
onwards, behaved no differently from
cats that had not been handled at all.
...All too often, as young kittens they
will not have been handled regularly.
Brought into new homes where they are
the focus of attention they receive lots
of handling, yet it seems this will not
socialize them as well as the little
time spent each day before weaning." We
believe this is true, so from the day
they are born they are handled and it
has paid off. Great Scottish Fold
kittens that are a joy the minute they
get adjusted to your home. I am not a
pressure salesperson for I believe
choosing a member of the family is a
huge decision. A Scottish Fold
Kitten will not just be another
kitten/cat but a true member of your
family.
Please
remember that you are not the only
person inquiring about a particular
kitten and that the Deposit is what will
hold a kitten for you until he/she is
ready to leave. Deposits are
nonrefundable. This has been added for
over the years I have people falling in
love with a particular kitten and he/she
is sold before they have committed to
he/she, thus being severely
disappointed. My scottish fold kitten
will usually join your family at about
13-14 weeks of age if not sooner
depending on the kitten.

Purchase Agreement
A
non-refundable deposit of
1/2 the purchase price will hold a kitten
until it is old enough to leave. the deposit
can be made with a personal check or put on
a credit card, PayPal etc. the balance, including
shipping costs must be paid in full prior to
picking up or shipping with a credit card,
money order, cashiers check or a direct
deposit into my account no personal checks
will be accepted for final payment.
As of March
2008, shipping by plane to most places in
the continental United States is
approximately $270.00, 340.00 for two
separate crates going to the same person To
Certain Places in the United States there
are additional fees due to airline charges
or having to use a different airline Other
then Delta. The purchaser will be
responsible for any additional airline fees
or delivery fees for this kitten/cat. The
purchaser Must be at the airport of
destination to pick the kitten/cat up upon
arrival.
