Cattery Update 2024

It is with much deliberation that I have decided to officially retire my Scottish Fold breeding program. This means I will no longer have Scottish Fold kittens available in the future.

Over the past 24 years, it has been both a privilege and a joy to work with this amazing breed. They have brought immeasurable happiness to our lives and will always hold a special place in my heart.

Please feel free to keep sending updates and pictures of your kittens—I always enjoy seeing how they are doing! And as always, don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or if there’s anything else I can assist you with.

Warm regards,
Suzanne Henne DVM

Chloe

Thanks, Suzanne. She is purrfect! My daughter named her chloe. 🙂🙂

Herbert and Priscilla

Hi Suzanne,

I just wanted to leave a testimonial since it’s been a year since we adopted Priscilla from you and two years since we adopted Herbert. They are both adorable, sweet cats that will follow us around room to room. They have such docile personalities and are so intelligent that we were able to train them to do some tricks! I couldn’t ask for better cats.

Thanks for raising such beautiful and loving kittens!

Kimchi

Hi Suzanne!

I thought you might appreciate a photo update of my beautiful tortie girl that I picked up from you almost two months ago now. She is now named Kimchi, and has quickly turned into my biggest love.

I knew that I would love her, but I don’t think I realized how much joy she would bring into my life. She loves to snuggle and show her affection, and follows me from room to room without missing a beat. She always wants in on wherever the action may be, and is SO SOCIAL. So many of my friends who have their own cats at home still cannot get over how much she wants to get to know them when they come over.

She has also made an impression on the vet I found here locally, they adore her! The entire vet staff loves to see her and takes her around to say hi on her last two visits.

I cannot thank you enough for your attention to these kittens. I know her situation was unique in that she wasn’t raised at the vet clinic like the others, but I am certain her genetics play a large part to why she is so wonderful. So thank you again for doing such an amazing job!

Hootie

Yesterday Hootie celebrated his 16th birthday!🎂🎉 Don’t let this princely picture fool you. He now comes out of his room and walks to the dining room table and jumps to the chair and then the table. There he can eat, drink, watch the birds and squirrels out the back door and sleeps on the table and chair. He actually now runs all over the house. He is much more interactive.

He still plays with toys when he thinks no one is watching him. Hunter and Hootie love each other but Hunter still wants to play too rough so they don’t interact as much except when they eat.

Love, Mary, Vicki, Hootie, and Hunter

Katie, Buggs, and Luna

Luna (for Lunatic hahaha) has Buggs on his toes! She’s a little stinker. Steals tissues, loves early morning wake up calls, and is just so precious! Thank you so so much for all your hard work to bring Luna to me. I appreciate you so much! Here are some pics from the last month!

Angie and Ellie

I got my sweet Ellie from you back in 2016 (I think). She is such a cutie! I wanted to send you a couple of cute pictures of her. She absolutely loves to go outside and will rub against your legs if you get close to the door! She likes to eat the grass! We will take her out every now and then under supervision, she just loves it! She spends a lot of time sleeping on the chairs at the breakfast table and I occasionally find her on the table checking things out! Thank you for such a sweet kitty, we all love her!

Mali and Penelope

So it’s been a while, and I figured I’d give you an update on Mali (perk ear Scottish fold) and Penelope the (blue British shorthair) that I drove to meet you a year and half ago. They are so wonderful (prob should have gotten a boy kitten maybe they’d get along better but sisters are just like that. Mali and Penelope both love Reveal wet cat food (Tuna specifically and they won’t eat any other wet food brand) and they are gorgeous. They have full coats and everyone just compliments us on how pretty they are. The bottom photo is hilarious because Penelope doesn’t fit in that little box anymore but she really does try hard.

Heather

Purchased a kitten from Suzanne several years ago and he is the most amazing cat EVER! Dipper has the most sweet, affectionate, curious, and downright entertaining disposition! And his cuteness is just too much! What a special breed and what an amazing job Suzanne does! We absolutely adore him!!!

Catherine M

Hi Suzanne! Just checking in. Sully and Puffy are doing great. They rule the house and being everyone much joy—I’ve never had cats before that people ASK to cat-sit! 🐈 🐈‍⬛ Hope you guys are well.

Peggy and Abby

Good Evening Suzanne

Sorry I haven’t responded in a while. Abby looks so cute in her pink harness. She loves to go outside, but the weather hasn’t been too good the last week or two.
Hope you enjoy the pics!

Peggy

Katie & Buggs

Buggs is doing great! Except that he won’t let me brush his teeth and I’m a little too scared to have the dentist put him to sleep! He’s 6 now! I can’t believe it! He’s the light of my life!! Here’s Buggs living his best life in Buffalo, NY
