Located in the beautiful Ouachita Mountains of Arkansas, Suzanne Henne is a veterinarian who, along with her family, is devoted to breeding and raising exceptional Scottish Fold kittens. We breed for long and short haired kittens resulting in a variety of colors and patterns both in the straight eared (perk eared) and folded eared Scottish Folds.

Eileen Karsh established that the window of the sensitive period for habituating kittens to people is from two weeks to seven weeks. Cats handled regularly during this time were prepared, when older, to stay on someone's lap longer and approach people more readily. Cats that were handled after this period, that is from weaning on wards, behaved no differently from cats that had not been handled at all. …All too often, as young kittens they will not have been handled regularly. Brought into new homes where they are the focus of attention they receive lots of handling, yet it seems this will not socialize them as well as the little time spent each day before weaning.

I am not a pressure salesperson for I believe choosing a member of the family is a huge decision and a Scottish Fold kitten will not just be a “cat” but a true member of the family.
Please remember that you are not the only person inquiring about a particular kitten. A Deposit is what will hold a kitten for you until he/she is ready to leave and that with the deposit agree to my contract. Deposits are nonrefundable. This has been added for over the years I have people falling in love with a particular kitten and he/she is sold before they have committed to he/she, thus being severely disappointed.
Suzanne is a member of Cat Fanciers Association, has won awards at various CFA cat shows, is on the Scottish Fold Breed Council and has qualified for the Cattery of Excellence Award from CFA. Our goal is to produce Scottish Folds that are not only unique and beautiful, but healthy and happy as well. All Scottish Fold kittens are raised with lots of love, attention and abundant human contact. They spend time in the veterinary clinic getting use to multiple people and animals- thus making the adjustment from our house to yours an easy transition. This means a happy and well socialized Scottish Fold kitten for your new family member!
